In 2022 after the Corona Virus pandemic, Owner Elsbeth Kirk decided to make her dream of owning a boutique a reality. Having spent 18 years as a retail buyer and traveling to markets all over the country making other businesses a success, It was finally time to put her years of experience into her own online boutique.

The name Lamari is inspired by the beautiful rare blue jewel of the Caribbean, Larimar. Only found in one mountain of her birth country, the Dominican Republic, it is one of the rarest stones in the world.
